Follow Up
The following services are provided by the Scholarships Office:
- Monitoring the scholarship recipients' academic progress by communicating with their respective overseas universities, guardians and students themselves via emails, phone calls, letters or visits.
- Financial follow-up of scholarship recipients on a continuous basis by communicating with them and their overseas university via emails and phone calls.
- Communication with the overseas advisors if the scholarship recipients fail to submit the progress reports after each semester.
- Issuance of warning letters to suspend pay cheques if scholarship recipients fail to submit the progress report for more than two semesters.
- Reminders for scholarship recipients to request a time extension if the they fail to complete their program in the allotted period of time.
- Issuance of scholarship freezing letters if the scholarship recipients fail to meet the scholarship criteria.
- Handling of transfer request letters addressed to Scholarships Office, if the scholarship recipients want to change the overseas university.
