Follow Up

The following services are provided by the Scholarships Office:

• Monitoring the scholarship recipients'  academic progress by communicating with their respective overseas universities, guardians and students themselves via emails, phone calls, letters or visits.
• Financial follow-up of scholarship recipients on a continuous basis by communicating with them and their overseas university via emails and phone calls.
• Communication with the overseas advisors if the scholarship recipients fail to submit the progress reports after each semester.
• Issuance of warning letters to  suspend pay cheques if  scholarship recipients fail to submit the progress report  for more than two semesters.
• Reminders for scholarship recipients to request a time extension if the they fail to complete their program in the allotted period of time.
• Issuance of scholarship freezing letters if the scholarship recipients fail to meet the scholarship criteria.
• Handling of  transfer request letters addressed to Scholarships Office, if the scholarship recipients want to change the overseas university.
