Curriculum Enhancement

The Curriculum Enhancement Committee (CE) was established in 2009. It is responsible for reviewing all curriculum enhancement related proposals and making recommendations to the Vice President for Academic Affairs. Its roles and responsibilities cover the following areas: Program Initiation, Curriculum Enhancement, and Program Restructuring.
Require Approval by the Department Head, College Curriculum Committee, College Dean, and the VPAA Before Implementation.
Examples of Curriculum Changes:
- Addition of a new course
- Deactivation/deletion of an existing course
- Change of course title
- Change of course credit hours
- Change of course contact hours
- Change of course grade mode
- Change of course delivery mode
- Change of course designation (Lec, Lab, …)
- Change of course level (Undergraduate, Graduate, ...)
- Change in the course description
- Change of course prerequisite and/or co-requisites
- Change of course offering frequency
- Change of course registration restrictions
- Change of credit hours of packages
- Transfer of courses between packages
- Implementation of approved new/ reactivated/ restructured programs (i.e., major, minor, or concentration) by BOR on the banner
- Restructure of a program that doesn’t require BOR approval
