Media and Publications Section
The Media and Publications Section manages all responsibilities related to the media coverage, news reports, success stories and various information materials of Qatar University including:
- Media planning to cover University requirements and promote its positive image
- Manage all journalistic editing and follow-up activities related to the University
- Write and edit press releases, articles, stories and statements
- Prepare media stories that portray positive image of the University and demonstrate its programs and projects
- Follow up on the news related to the University and analyze media coverage on a daily basis
- Provide monthly, quarterly and annual reports on media and press coverage
- Organize and manage press conferences and information workshops
- Provide the Department of Digital Communications Section news pertaining to colleges, departments and centers at the University
- Identify media opportunities to attract new audiences and respond to media inquiries
- Establish a network of relations with newspapers, media, new agencies and journalists
- Proofread QU website content and all news or decisions issued by the University.
