Abstract
The World Value Survey (WVS) is a global network of social scientists studying changing values and their impact on social and political life. SESRI joining the WVS effort in its fifth and most recent wave through conducting the survey in Qatar. The goal of the WVS project is to construct a baseline for future studies that will be able to measure the extent, and causes, of value change in society. Measuring and explaining the changes in Qatari attitudes and values will provide valuable insight into the extent and causes of societal change in modern Qatar.
The data collected by SESRI in Qatar is merged into the World Values Survey’s cross-national data set which can be downloaded from the World Values Survey’s website.
