Evaluation Committee
Nomination applications and selection of recognized employees is subject to a thorough evaluation process carried out by a committee comprised of a number of Student Affairs members who are selected every academic year by the Vice President for Student Affairs.
Selection Criteria
The Committee - in its evaluation of submitted nominations – uses a number of criteria, including:
- The impact of the nominee’s contributions at the Sector and the institution level that support and promote Qatar University vision and mission.
- The positive magnitude and impact of the nominee’s contributions on the stakeholders he/she is serving.
Selection Process:
The evaluation process will take place in two phases:
- Stage one:
- The nominee's direct supervisor submits the evaluation form to the evaluation committee.
- The committee evaluates all submitted applications.
- The committee short-lists candidates to the second stage.
- Stage two: the committee interviews the shortlisted candidates to verifiy the accomplishments and contributions with the awards criteria.
Note: The evaluation committee requires all nomination applications to include examples and detailed elaboration on how the nominee meets the specific criteria for each award.
Recognition Ceremony
Recognition takes place during Annal Gathering of the Student Affairs Sector where the winners will be acknowledged by the VP of Student Affairs.
