Mr. Faisal holds a Master’s degree in private law from Qatar University with an honors grade in 2018, and LLB from Qatar University with a grade of distinction with honors, first in the male students class, and the fifth position at the University level –male students class of 2011. His Highness the Father Emir honored him as one of the distinguished bachelor's graduate at the level of Qatar University. In addition, he was honored in a number of occasions; he received a number of awards following his academic excellence during his undergraduate study. His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, the Emir of the State of Qatar, honored him as one of the winners of the Scientific Excellence Award for the category of Master’s degree holders in specializations in 2019.
At the professional level, Mr. Faisal has worked in the energy sector, where he started his career in 2012 working as a legal assistant at Maersk Petroleum Qatar; he was promoted to an assistant legal advisor and then as a legal advisor in the same company. The Regional Network for Social Responsibility listed him as one of the 100 most influential Arab dignitaries in the field of social responsibility. He is one of the Qatari national football team players for the blind, and participated with the team in several international tournaments. With the team, he won the bronze medal in the 2015 Gulf Games, which was held in Dammam, KSA. He also had a number of voluntary work contributions such as supervising the activities of the Qatar Social and Cultural Center for the Blind until 2014, and chairing its Board of Directors. He contributed to launching a number of initiatives for people with disabilities in the society, and had an active role in many international initiatives and missions. He is a member of a number of national, Arab and international federations, and has published three research papers and presented a number of awareness lectures.
He has a B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering, from the College of Engineering. Since his graduation, he has been involved in his professional career until he was appointed as a director of the Engineering Directorate in a Qatari military institution in 2014. He continued working in this post until 2019 when he was appointed as a director of Public Relations and Moral Guidance.
Al-Hajirii has committed himself to developing his own skills through joining several training sessions and programs. He completed his training in the government leaders program at Qatar Leadership Center (QLC). He also got his MA degree in Business Administration from the UK. In recognition and pride of his national University, he coordinated and contributed to a number of QU areas and interests.
Al-Hajiri is one of the young leadership in the State; he has served the community through participating in several activities and roles: an Imam and Friday sermon speaker at the Ministry of Endowment and Islamic Affairs, chairperson of the social and youth committee at Al-Rayyan Sports Club, as well as presenting some media programs for Qatar TV and Al-Rayyan TV Channel.
He got his BA degree in Media and International Affairs from Qatar University in 2011.
During his first year at QU, he actively participated in several activities and events such as: establishing the professional volunteering program between Al-Jazeera Sports Channel, Alkass Channel and Qatar University to train students and equip them with the necessary media skills. Then, he applied for the program titled “Anchor Project” launched by Al-Jazeera Channel in which about 12000 participants compete over the year; in this contest, Sowar was selected and approved as sports anchor at Al-Jazeera Sports Channel (Now at beIN Sport). Within a short period, he could win many awards at the professional level granted to him by some Arab institutions, and he has become one of the top Arab anchors while he is still pursuing his University studies.
During these years, he has launched several humanitarian initiatives at the Arab countries level until he has become the ambassador of Qatar Charity and many other entities.
He has contributed to several humanitarian projects in many countries, the most important of which is “Streets’ Children Project in Sudan” which takes care of homeless children living in streets. The project aimed to integrate children in the society through involving them in social and sports activities and getting them enrolled in schools, and providing them with aids and sponsoring their families; this project received appreciation from all and reduced the homelessness phenomenon.
He worked on establishing the project of “learning through fun” in Sudan and Bangladesh (Rohingya camps), these projects have been adopted by many humanitarian organizations.
He was granted “Akhlaquna Award” which was launched by her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser; the award aims to honor the best person who launces projects that serve humanity and highlight and represent the great moral character of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
During this year, Sowar Al-Thahab has launched a TV Show under the name of “Amran: to be presented in Ramadhan annually (Fist season was via Youtube under the name: Amran); this is a social and humanitarian program which targets youth in the Arab world.
Graduated from the Bachelor of Business Administration in 2011 from the Collage of Management and Economics at Qatar University. Upon her graduation, Amal worked in the energy and gas sector, where she held the position of senior business analyst in the strategy division of Oryx GTL. Then she became the head of Strategy and Business Planning Department. Amal Al-Shammari is currently the director of strategic Planning at QAFCO Chemical Fertilizers Company. Amal established the first cultural consultancy company in Qatar (Embrace Doha) in 2014, where its project idea won the Best Social Project award in the Qatar Business Incubator. The project aims to acquaint visitors with the history and culture of Qatar, in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030, in order to meet the first challenges imposed, which is to preserve the national identity. (Incubated Doha) participated in several local events in cooperation with the National Tourism Council and the Council of Ministers, and also represented the State of Qatar in international forums within the cultural year under the auspices of the Qatar Museums Authority.
Amal also established the first animation company in Qatar (Nefaish Animation) in 2018, which works to provide animation inspired by the Qatari culture. Amal has written a short film entitled (Freiha), which won the support of the Doha Film Foundation to be produced in 2020. The company is currently writing and moving a 15-episode Qatari animation project in cooperation with the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy.
Amal Al-Shammari, winner of the 2017 Excellence in Entrepreneurship Award for Women, is also a graduate of the Qatar Leadership Center (Youth Leadership Program) 2018.

Bachelor degree from the Faculty of Management and Economics specialization "Finance and Business Administration". He is the recipient of several awards on a personal level, including the Student Leadership Award at Qatar University and the Volunteer Work Award at the national level. Mainly contributed to the supervision and won the best TV decor award for the program "Night of the Watan" channel for Al Rayan Satellite TV at the Promax BDA International Awards Festival, which is concerned with the field of television creativity.
Sabah Al Kuwari is one of the oldest presidents of Al Rayan TV since its establishment in 2012.He has held a number of management positions in more than one area, including Director of Media Department at Qatar Charity. Due to his proven competence, he was assigned a number of leadership tasks at Al Rayyan Satellite Channel, starting with the head of the social media unit in the channel, then headed the programs section, and then was appointed as the Director of Planning and Programs Department, and then was appointed Director of the Department of Creative Services, and in June 2017 he was appointed Director Al Rayyan Satellite Channel.
He graduated from Qatar University in 2007 with a BA in Information Science and Libraries with honors. He was on the list of best-selling novels for several weeks. The second part of his novel, "The Saziran Treasure - Katara Gate and Dilmun Puzzles" was published in 2014, and it was also published in 2015 by Shawk Al-Kawadi.
Abdulla has been rated by critics as the first Qatari novelist to specialize in historical fantasy and youth literature. He was honored by Dr. Hamad bin Abdulaziz Al Kuwari, former Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage for his contributions and contributions to the literary field and the Ministry's Cultural Salon in 2014. He also received a certificate of thanks and appreciation from Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al-Sulaiti, Director General of the Cultural District of Katara during his participation in the Qatari novelists' exhibition 2015. He also received the honor of meeting with His Highness the father Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser Al Missned and Her Excellency Sheikha Al Mayas Bint Hamad Al Thani may God protect them during their attendance at the Doha International Book Fair where he presented them with copies of his fiction.
Issa Abdulla served as the Director General of the Cultural Innovation Center, then worked as a consultant for administrative and financial affairs for Al Wijdan Cultural Center.
Issa Abdullah is one of the most active writers in the Qatari newspapers and Qatari media, and is interested in youth affairs, where he participates in weekly articles in the newspaper Al Sharq, also participates in many local and international cultural events and conferences, and is hosted in many television programs Local to talk about the world of novel and writing. Issa Abdullah was keen to consolidate his relationship with Qatar University after graduating in 2007, through attending meetings and conferences held at the university and his eagerness to participate in it.
Abdulla has been interested in community service and spreading the culture of volunteerism through his participation in many fields, he has provided training courses and workshops for school students and volunteered in the management and organization of seminars and workshops held on the sidelines of the Doha International Book Fair, in addition to his participation in donation campaigns and relief organized by the Ministry Culture and Sports.
Abdulla recently completed the third part of the novel “The Treasures of Doha and the Wonders of the Kingdom”, which will be released this year. He will also launch a series for young adults entitled “Kingdom of Ibriz - Zubarah and the Foundation Stone”.
Bachelor of Health Sciences - Human Nutrition from Qatar University (2010-2009). She joined Hamad Medical Corporation in July 2017. During her career at Hamad Medical Corporation, she held a number of positions: therapeutic nutritionist, first clinical nutritionist and supervisor of the therapeutic nutrition department at the Specialized Care Center in Hamad Bin Khalifa Medical City. She is currently the Head of the Clinical Nutrition Department at Hamad Bin Khalifa Medical City Hospitals, Al Rumaila Hospital and the Center for Communicable Diseases.
Alanoud Al-Fehaidi has a lot of leadership experiences such as the ability to develop clear and applicable plans for the benefit of patients, as well as excellence in the field of research and collection of information necessary for the development of work from the experience and skills and benefit from the experiences and accomplishments experiences to help her workflow, she is one of the graduates of the Institute program Hamad Clinical Care Improvement Training Program (CCITP Cycle 12).
It has developed guidelines for the therapeutic feeding of Hamad Medical Corporation to standardize the therapeutic nutritional diagnosis of all dietitians working in Hamad Medical Corporation, and has developed its department by making several protocols to improve the quality of work and the health of patients, including: Protocol to treat low blood sugar in patients with long-term stay Using the "rule 15", tubular feeding protocol, pneumonia, and therapeutic feeding protocol for wound healing and bed sores, has also done some research to find solutions to a number of health problems including: get rid of the problem of constipation in patients in the center Specialist care - care without drug intervention, the use of amino acid (Arginine) for the treatment of wounds and bed sores for patients with long-term residence, and treatment of hyperglycemia using cinnamon solution.
Alanoud Al-Fehaidi represented Hamad Medical Corporation's Clinical Nutrition Department at The International Part of Intensive Care Management (ICNT) in Dubai, where she gave a lecture on the therapeutic feeding of spinal cord injury patients in rehabilitation centers, as well as a lecture at the Clinical Nutrition Program - Weill Cornell. She participated in a research poster at the Middle East Forum on Quality and Safety in Healthcare. Al Fehaidi is an accredited trainer from the Department of Therapeutic Nutrition, and participates with the Health Sciences Department of the Therapeutic Nutrition Program in the field training of Qatar University students. She has passed several professional management programs in strategic health care and attended many conferences and workshops on therapeutic nutrition and health.
During her career, she has won a number of awards, including:
Stars of Excellence Award: Rising Star Award in Cooperative Achievement, Star of Excellence Award in Education, in addition to receiving Star Awards of Excellence for 2013 and 2014). She has also been awarded the Distinguished Employee Award and has been recognized for professional performance throughout her career at Hamad Medical Corporation.
Al Fehidi is an active member of a wide range of strategic committees and task forces, including: Documentation and Audit Committee, Monitoring and Evaluation Subcommittee of the Supreme Council of Health, Clinical Practice Guidelines Committee, Professional Development Policy and Procedures Committee, Health Information Systems Committee, Therapeutic Nutrition and Information Systems Committee Health, American Society of Intravenous and Intubation Nutrition and Institute for Health Care Improvement.
The outstanding career of our graduate Khawla Murtazawi dates back to 2007 when she obtained her BA Degree in Media (with Distinction). She joined our QU’s Department of Communication and Public Affairs where she served in many QU media committees shouldering the responsibility of tailoring and implementing media plans and boosting students’ role in the Institution’s media activities and events.
During the course of her career, Ms. Khawla achieved many accomplishments including but not limited to:
- Honored and recognized by the Alumni Association in 2015 for achieving Media Chapter’s award which she has been chairing since 2014.
- Honored by Minister of Youth and Sports in 2015 in recognition of her Movie "Dreams Never End",
- Honored by Al Jazeera Tenth International Documentary Film Festival on her Film (Souq Waqif: Fragrant of the Past).
- Qatar’s representative in the USA based International Visitor Program 2016.
- Published her first book (Ink Feather) in 2016, which includes 45 different articles on life, media and religions.
- Columnist in three dailies: (Ink feather) in Al-Watan newspaper, (Leaving Inside) in the Saudi daily “Al-Youm”, and specialized religious articles in the International Newspaper “Beth”.
Ms. Murtazawi holds active membership in a number of media committees and centers. She is a founding member of the Arab Council for Social Media, a founding member of the National Center for Media Training, a founding member of the Qatari-American Association for Cultural Programs, and finally, a member of the International Public Relations Association.
The journey of our graduate Maha Alfhidy, began in 2010 when she received her BA Degree in Geography / Urban Planning. Ever since that date, Maha has held many positions during her professional career. She served as Deputy Head of the Planning Requirements Unit / Urban Design Department. She also worked as Deputy Head of the Rail Projects Team. Currently, she works as an urban planner in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment.
During the course of her career, she has achieved many accomplishments including:
- Cost reduction of Doha Metro Project and other road construction projects projects by approximately QR 10 billion in 2015 and 2016.
- She Obtained “ Excellent Rank “ in her Performance Appraisal System during her tenure in the Ministry of Municipality and Environment for four consecutive years.
- Al Fahidi is an active member in many specialized teams such as the Land Acquisitions Metro Project Team since 2012, the Rail Joint Working Group (JWG) since 2014, and a member of the study team of the Metro Stations and Surrounding Areas Plans (SAP) since 2014.
- Member of the Interim Action Plan Team for the buses of Qatar 2014 - 2022 since 2014,
- Member in the Expressway Projects Team, a member candidate of the Urban Planning Department to study all the Metro project requirements since 2012,
- Member in Globalizing Accounting Society
- Representative of the Department of Urban Planning in Qatar International Conference and Exhibition for Sustainable Development (Sustainability National Project),
- Representative of the Department of Urban Planning in the Central Planning Office for Rail projects and Expressway Projects since 2012.
After his graduation from Qatar University in 2002, Saleh Hamad Al-Marri became a prominent volunteer member of the Industrial Advisory Board at the university’s College of Engineering, where he provided considerable support to the University and the College. This culminated in a solid partnership being secured with Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) and Siemens, which led to the establishment of a Professorial Chair in energy efficiency.
In his current position as Head of Renewable Energy Technologies Section at Kahramaa, he is working on a Smart Networking Technologies Project with the aim to transfer and implement these technologies at QU. This and his active involvement with the institution led him to become Qatar’s primary representative in a number of international committees such as: committee member and member of Renewable Energy Strategies Team of the Arab League; committee member of Renewable Energy and member of the Energy Efficiency Study Team of the Arab Union for Electricity; and member of the Energy Experts Team of the International Renewable Energy Agency. Additionally, he achieved first place certificate for Best Project Plan in Qatari Entrepreneurs 2015.
The professional career of Sultan Naif Al-Thani, Qatar University graduate, Class of 2011, began with his achievement with honors -- major in Finance, minor in Accounting -- from the College of Business & Economics, where, throughout his academic tenure, he was employed at Emiri Diwan Public Relations Department. Post-graduation, he worked at Qatar National Bank (QNB), where after one year; he was recruited to undertake management responsibility for product development at Qatar Credit Bureau of Qatar Central Bank (QCB).
He then rose to the position of Assistant Manager in the Financial Risk Management Department and later moved to the position of Manager at Barwa Bank Enterprise Risk Management Department. Added to this, Sultan performed teaching duties at Qatar University after attaining his Master’s degree in Islamic Finance from Qatar Faculty of Islamic Studies.
Sultan also successfully fulfilled his national military service where he achieved the rank of Company Commander, proving his ability to inspire team spirit and camaraderie, and leading his team to a number of award successes.
A successful career as Chair, Institutional Safety Affairs, Qatar General Electricity & Water Corporation, Essa joined Reach Out to Asia (ROTA) as Senior Manager, Operations, was promoted to the position of Acting Director, and later appointed as CEO. He graduated from Qatar University, with a BSc in Mechanical Engineering and obtained an MBA from Newcastle University.
Active in voluntary and charitable work, he was named "Best Volunteer" during the 2005 West Asian Games in Doha.
On graduating from Qatar University with a BSc Degree in Physical Education & Sport Sciences, Amena worked as a P.E. teacher, and later as a trainer of trainers, providing courses in Standards of Physical Education to teachers at independent schools.
She participated in Schools Olympic Day as coach and referee of many of the event's games and activities. In 2009, she was ranked first in soccer training for four consecutive years at the primary school level. She also received the Sport Excellence Award 2009. In addition to her participation in many sport leagues and contribution to many periodicals.
Amena has been involved in many voluntary activities. She is a member of QU Alumni Association and Vice-Chair of the Sports Chapter. She has participated in many sport tournaments and competitions through different QU alumni sport teams and was ranked first many times.
She currently works in QU's Activities Departments as a coach.
Hessa graduated from Qatar University College of Arts and Sciences, Department of Mass Communication in 2011, majoring in Public Relations and Advertising. She currently works in the Public Relations Department at RasGas.
She also chaired " Maraya Shababiya" Magazine.
Her graduation project entitled " My Book My World" helped promote reading among children in Qatar.
